I am a freelance translator from English into Russian and Belarusian.  As is usually the case with Belarusians, I am bilingual and both Russian and Belarusian are my native tongues. I have experience of a wide range of subjects but specialize in several core areas, such as  IT and Marketing. A narrow specialization means that I only translate the documents that I fully understand and able to render adequately in my native language. I graduated from Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radio-electronics (BSUIR) in 1998 with an Engineer`s degree (5 years of studies, it`s between BA and MA), since then I worked in different fields, learning different skills and broadening my horizons.  I`ve spent 3 years in the UK, learning british culture and language, and now I feel at home in british culture which I really love. I have been working as a full-time translator since 2006, delivering quality translations to my clients. Since then I have translated dozens of books, mainly software manuals on Excel, Adobe products, such as Flash, Indesign, Corel Draw and many more.  These books, published by major Russian publishers, are now sold in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and other countries with Russian speaking population. I find translation to be a very rewarding career. The best thing about it is that you just can not stop learning: you learn when you translate and you learn in between to be able to translate better.
